Hi Pauli,

So long ago I figured out how to make conduit read the slider 1 value so that I could make my transition ramp-up and then down. Specifically, I am asked to make the image flash white during the transition. I can’t find my thread over in the dvgarage help forums and am wondering in you could flesh out here how to use the Curve node or whatever node is best to make the Slider values increase and then decrease over time.

Any chance you can get the vectorscope, waveform and rgb parade from Conduit Live to show up in the FCE plug-in since Final Cut Express doesn’t have those “Pro” features.

I also saw that Miranda has a DVI – HD-SDI output, the Ramp2 but it apparently costs $4,000 bucks..

one more question:

Another question – how do you set up a joystick or midi-controller to a slider?

I’m looking to increase an image’s size (through the slider) in a stepped fashion, to simulate a zoom…

I think you'd be best served by a DVI to HD-SDI converter. I know Gefen has several models (link), and there are also other vendors.

Is there any video card for SDI Out that anyone has successfully connected / or that may work?

Please let me know… actually looking for outting HD-SDI…

sorry for not replying before, I didn’t notice your comment until now.

I did try Conduit in FCE and it seems to work as expected. I don’t know what might be wrong in your case. Sorry I can’t be of more help with this information!

Have you actually been able to get Conduit to work in FCE? I’ve been trying, but can’t get a preview window to actually show the changes in my settings. If I click around a bit I can get a single frame that reflects changes, but nothing more. Rendering doesn’t seem to work either.

any ideas?
